A batch counts as a 'train' only while its satellites' orbital positions (mean anomaly) still cluster within a narrow arc — a disclosed approximation for 'still visibly a train', not a full relative-position simulation of every satellite. A pass counts as 'visible' only if the lead satellite is sunlit AND Port Louis's sky is at least civil-twilight dark (Sun below -6° altitude) at the pass's peak. The magnitude shown is a rougher, simplified brightness estimate than this page's ISS-passes sibling — no equivalent well-established reference brightness was found for freshly deployed Starlink satellites.

Why might this page show no train?

Either no Starlink orbital elements have been fetched yet, the latest fetched data is too old to trust, or — most commonly — no recently launched batch is currently still visibly clustered (most Starlink satellites in orbit are long since spread out to their own operational shells, which this page does not track). This page never estimates a train from stale or missing orbital data, or invents one that isn't genuinely still clustered; it shows an honest note instead.
